AJ Jewell Ex-Fiance' of ATL Housewife Kandi Burruss Dies in Fight; Arrest Made
The city of Atlanta is in mourning as news broke in the early hours of Saturday morning regarding the tragic death of AJ Jewell, ex-fiance of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss.
According to reports by The Atlanta Journal Constitution: Jewell died of massive head injuries he suffered in a “one-on-one” fight in the parking lot of an Atlanta strip bar, the Body Tap Club in the 1200 block of Marietta Boulevard.
Burruss revealed in an interview with celebrity blogger B. Scott earlier this month that Jewell was part owner of The Body Tap. Burruss also discussed her relationship with AJ Jewell in an interview with loldarian.com during her participation in the NO H8 Campaign photoshoot in Atlanta.
Burruss took to her twitter page earlier to thank fans for their condolences and asked to be left alone during this difficult time.

Atlanta homicide detectives have arrested and charged Fredrick Richardson with voluntary manslaughter in the beating death of Jewell. Richardson was also hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the fight and is at Grady Memorial Hospital, but will be jailed once released by medical staff.
