Now this is rich. Another reason why people living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Tiger Woods isn't the only public figure dealing with his own personal "trangressions" in a public way. Reports on Christian blogs surfaced towards the end of last year detailing popular gospel artist Tye Tribbett's extramarital affair with a female member of his choir G.A. (Greater Anointing).

It seems Tribbett and his camp have worked feverishly to keep the affair a secret in order to protect his image and reputation as a secular music critic and hellfire preacher, especially on the topic of homosexuality.

The story was brought to the attention of loldarian.com after a scathing review of Tribbet's recent performance on BET's Celebration of Gospel by anti-gay website Gay Christian Movement Watch.

"Vocal and angry about sexual immorality in the church, when asked about his own menage a trios, Tribbett refused comment. Tribett underwent a so called 60 day sabbatical to “get right with God”. And guess what? He got right just in time to perform at the Celebration of Gospel! Actually the COG was taped Dec 12, so Tye cheated on his sabbatical, but who are we to hold him accountable to some silly sabbatical?", notes GCM watch.

According to Da Gospel Truth, a blog that covers the gospel music industry, Tribbett's wife discovered the affair around Mother's Day of 2009.The mistress wasn’t just a member of Tye’s Greater Anointing choir, but she also happened to be the baby’s mother of one his best friends, who also sings in the group.

"The problem here is that Tye had been extremely vocal (read: judgmental) about a lot of things, particularly things pertaining to mainstream music and culture. For nearly two years, Tye preached a sermon during concerts where he openly rebuked everyone from Beyonce to Omarion as he told concertgoers that their “secular” music would cause them “death.” His “Life or Death” message also challenged believers not to wear clothes by rappers like Sean “Diddy” Combs (Sean John) and Jay-Z (Roc-A-Wear) because you “carry their spirits” and “you don’t know the spirit behind these guys.”

Loldarian.com reported on Tribbett's homophobic outburst during a performance of his song "Victory" on the 2007 Celebration of Gospel where he urged those listening to "Come out of poverty, come out of lesbianism, come out of homosexuality, you can get out there's a better way".

Tribbett's very vocal preaching against gays and lesbians is also well documented as seen in this YouTube clip from 2006.

I have to wonder with Gerald of Da Gospel Truth when he writes: "I find it very interesting that the man crowned as one of the most outspoken Gospel artists in the industry hasn’t mumbled a single word about his own transgressions."

There's more to the story. Apparently, Tribbett's wife isn't an innocent bystander. How does it feel Tye?
