Soul singer Marsha Ambrosius formerly of the duo Floetry transcends mere entertainment and raises the bar for content in music videos with her latest "Far Away".
Ambrosius is fearless as she tackles homophobia, suicide, and affection between two black men on screen. The latter which we rarely ever see portrayed beyond the predatory veil of the down-low.
"The fact that she set us up with it as a love story and it really was: both theirs and the couple! IT'S STUNNING!", says Rev. Kevin E. Taylor, BET Producer and Pastor of Unity Fellowship Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Real art has the ability to start long overdue dialouge and create change within people ultimately creating a better world where it's safe for all people to live and thrive in regardless of sexual orientation. I believe Marsha Ambrosius has used her art to do just that.
